Holy Cross junior outfielder Chris Woodruff wrapped up an impressive 10-game stretch during the 2014 spring break trip where he improved his batting average from .227 to .351 over the trip.
Over this stretch, Woodruff moved into the leadoff role and recorded multiple hits in seven of the 10 games including a pair of games with three hits.
Woodruff currently ranks third on the team with a .351 batting average and has swiped a team-best five stolen bases in eight attempts.
The Saints (3-15) will play five games this week, four at Four Winds Field, beginning with their home opener on Tuesday, March 18 against Goshen (Ind.). First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 pm EST.
