Leading the Saints once again will be Steven Baumgartner. Coach Baumgartner has been involved with the men's basketball program since its inception in 2004. Baumgartner was a player for the first club team, and after one year he took over as head coach. 2009 will once again prove to be a challenge as the Saints enter the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC).  Holy Cross has been moved to division 1 status after Illinois Tech suspended their program.

"It's truly special to have had the opportunity, as a player, to be a part of the inaugural club team, and now to have the privilege to be the head coach," said Coach Baumgartner, "it truely is a blessing." Baumgartner is a 2007 graduate of Holy Cross where he received a Bachelors of Arts degree.
