Dan Merkle, the son of Mary and Terry Merkle, is a freshman at Holy Cross. Dan, who is from Kalamazoo, MI will be playing defense this year for the Saints. His biggest athletic thrill was hitting a walk off home run to win his baseball conference championship game. Dan attended Comstock High School where he lettered in hockey, baseball, football, and golf.
