Green Named Head Golf Coach
Notre Dame, Ind. Holy Cross College Athletic Director, Tom Robbins, is pleased to announce the hiring of Marc Green as the head coach of the Saints men's and women's golf programs. Green, who brings 15+ years of coaching experience, becomes the fourth golf coach in program history.
Green, originally from Decatur, Illinois, where he attended St. Teresa High School. He will begin immediately as the head golf coach. He will also serve as the Sports Information Director in the athletic department. He comes to Holy Cross from Tippecanoe Valley Middle/High School, where he was most recently the varsity softball coach. Prior to that, he was the golf coach at Ancilla College from 2005-2018, where his men's and women's golf teams made it to eight National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) National Championships. In 2018, Coach Green was named the NJCAA National Women's Golf Coach of the Year
Green is a 2003 graduate from Goshen College, where he was a member of the Maple Leaf golf team.
Green enjoys playing golf and helping at his parish, St. Mary of the Annunciation in Bristol. He currently resides in Goshen with his wife and two children.

I am hoping with my experience, the current golfers, and the incoming golfers, we have a chance to be competitive. I would like to build on that and make Holy Cross a national name in golf. The Holy Cross College Saints compete in eight intercollegiate sports for men and women. Holy Cross has produced 205 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference All-Academic Team honors and 108 All-Conference members, and five NAIA All-Americans. Founded in 1966, Holy Cross College is a Catholic, residential, coed, four-year institution of higher learning, offering an applied liberal arts curriculum.
