New Student Athlete Checklist
Thank you for your interest in competing as a student-athlete to Holy Cross College! This checklist will help you complete the necessary items needed for your clearance to Play NAIA Sports. Contact Assistant Athletics Director, T.J. Mannen if you need any further assistance.
Student-Athlete NAIA compliance checklist:
- Complete the Common Application online, the supplemental question and essay.
- Complete the FAFSA information, Sign and submit.
- Register for clearing house on www.PLAYNAIA.org
- Transmit Official Final High School Transcripts to both Holy Cross and PLAYNAIA.org.
- Transmit Test Scores (ACT &/or SAT) to both Holy Cross and PLAYNAIA.org.
- If you’re a transfer student-athlete:
- Complete College Report and return to admissions.
- Transmit Official College Transcripts to both Holy Cross and PLAYNAIA.org.
- Test Scores (ACT &/or SAT) if you have less than 24 transfer credits
- If International Student Athlete
- Translated high school transcripts.
- Submission of TOEFL score.
- Certificate of Finances.
Once you are accepted and registered for classes, you must complete the following steps:
Student-Athlete Sports Medicine Portal
- Student-Athlete's Sports Medicine Profile Account Registration/Annual Update Link
- Sports Physical Forms
- Student-Athlete Insurance Information
- Concussion Policy
- Drug Testing Policy
Log into your student portal and accepted the following items:
- Student-Athlete Handbook agreement
- FERPA agreement
- Champions of Character agreement
- Grant-in-Aid agreement
All the above must be completed before you can be eligible to play your sport.
