Turnovers Plague Saints in Loss at SXU
Chicago, Ill. The Holy Cross College men's basketball team traveled to St. Xavier University this afternoon in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup. After a poor offensive performance in the first half, the Saints found themselves down 40-17 entering halftime. Holy Cross's offense improved in the second half and after a Mick Sullivan made jump hook the score was 56-50 with just over five minutes to play. The halftime deficit was too much to overcome in the second half as the Saints would fall 69-63. With the loss, men's basketball stands at 12-17 overall and 7-14 in conference play, while SXU improves to 16-12 and 13-7.
