Saints Get Win Over Jaguars at Home
Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross College men's basketball returned to conference play this evening when they hosted Governors State University. A back-and-forth battle to begin the game, with both teams exchanges leads in the first half. Holy Cross made a late run in the first to take a 29-22 lead into halftime. Midway through the second half, the Saints extended their lead 74-36. The Holy Cross defense would get stops late to come away with the 70-60 victory. With the win, Holy Cross moves to 7-10 and 2-7, while GSU stands at 5-11 and 3-5.
