CCAC Releases Postseason Awards

Chicago, Ill. The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced their men's basketball 2023-2024 All-Conference Awards. Holy Cross College men's basketball player Desmond Davie earned All-Conference distinctions.

Desmond Davie, originally from Alexandria, Kentucky, was awarded to the CCAC All-Freshman Team. The 6'6 forward was also named CCAC Honorable Mention All-Conference He was the only freshman to selected to All-Conference honors in the CCAC. Davie led the Saints in scoring and rebounds at 15.8 points per game and 7.0 rebounds per game. He recorded three double-doubles in his rookie campaign. Davie's best game came in the win at UM-Dearborn where he had 31 points to go along with 14 rebounds.

The Holy Cross College Saints compete in eight intercollegiate sports for men and women. Holy Cross has produced 205 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference All-Academic Team honors and 108 All-Conference members, and seven NAIA All-Americans.
