Adzia and Hostetler Awarded Scholar-Athletes
Kansas City, Mo. The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) recently announced their Daktronics Men's Basketball Scholar-Athletes. Of the 572 recipients from across the nation, Holy Cross College had two student-athletes earn this award.
In order to be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at the institution.
Junior Nash Hostetler and sophomore Drew Adzia were named 2024 Daktronics NAIA Men's Basketball Scholar-Athletes.
Nash Hostetler, from Dublin, Ohio, was also awarded a NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete for the 2022-2023 season. He started in 26 of the 28 games while averaging 8.4 point per game and 4.6 rebounds per game.
Drew Adzia prepped at Crown Point High School in Crown Point, Indiana. The sophomore appeared in 26 games for the Saints while averaging 4.7 points per game. He lead the team in 3-pt field goal percentage at 56.7%.

The Holy Cross College Saints compete in eight intercollegiate sports for men and women.
