Bio

Coach Kayden played college golf at the University of Toledo and was a three-year letter winner. After college, he went into coaching and was at four different schools before Holy Cross. Kayden started out as an assistant with Penn State for four years where in his final year the Nittany Lions finished 15th in the 2004 D1 National Championships. Coach Kayden then moved on to become the head coach at Austin Peay State University for 10 years. Kayden won 2 Ohio Valley Conference Championships in 2009 & 2013. He also was OVC Coach of the year in 2013. His next stop was at Mercer University 2014-2021, in the Southern Confrence for seven years. Mercer was consistently in the top half of the D1 rankings under Coach Kayden. While at Mercer, his teams were at the top of the athletic department in team GPA rankings. He then went on to be the Head Men's & Women's Coach at Georgia Military College from 2022-26. The Men's team was a 3X National JUCO runner-up 2023,2024, & 2025. Coach has been married to his wife Melissa for 24 years and has an 18-year-old daughter Maddie, who will attend Indiana University in the fall and intends to major in Sports Management. Coach Kayden enjoys playing golf, watching college sports, reading and spending time with family including his dog, Cali.
