Gregg Collects Second Player of the Week Honors
Chicago, Ill. Holy Cross College men's tennis player Perry Gregg was named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending March31, it was announced by the league office Wednesday morning. This is Gregg's second consecutive Player of the Week award since the start of the spring season.
Gregg, a junior, went 1-0 for the Saints this past week. He got the No.1 singles win with a 6-3, 6-1 victory against Marian University. He and partner Laurenz Flender did not finish their No.1 doubles match against the Knights.
Men's tennis is currently 3-3 on the season and ranked 21st in the nation in the latest NAIA poll. The Saints will be back in action on Saturday, April 6 when this open league play at Judson University.
