Saints Take Down Wolves on the Road
Milwaukee, Wis. The Holy Cross women's basketball team returned to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play this afternoon on the road at Cardinal Stritch University. The Saints jumped out to a 18-10 lead after the first quarter of action. The Wolves were able to cut into the lead in the second quarter, as the Saints would hold a 28-24 lead heading into halftime. Holy Cross would never trail in the third and fourth quarters and would extend their lead and come away with the 66-49 victory. With the win, Holy Cross improves to 9-8 and 4-6 in conference play, while Stritch stands at 4-13 and 2-9.
