Saints Get Late Comeback Win
Atchison, Kansas. The Holy Cross women's basketball team traveled to Atchison, Kansas to compete in the Holiday Inn Express Classic. In the second day game, Holy Cross took on Baker University. A late run by the Wildcats to end the first quarter gave them a 23-18 lead over the Saints. Holy Cross would struggle to score in the second quarter, as they would trail 38-24 at halftime. The Saints would flip the script in the third quarter and out score Baker 19-6 to trail only 44-43 entering the final 10 minutes of action. Holy Cross's defense turned up the pressure in the fourth quarter and would go on to win 66-61. With the win, Holy Cross improves to 2-1 while Baker stands at 0-3
