Saints Drop Road Game at Goshen
Goshen, Ind. The Holy Cross women's basketball team traveled to Goshen College this evening for a non-conference matchup. Both teams struggled shooting in the first quarter, as the Maple Leafs would hold a 11-8 edge over the Saints. Holy Cross would heat up offensively in the second quarter and would score 21 points but would trail 33-29 at halftime. Late in the fourth quarter, the Saints would cut the lead 75-67, but Goshen was able to convert free throws late to hand Holy Cross the 75-67 defeat. With the loss, Holy Cross stands at 3-3 while Goshen improves to 5-2.
