Saints Fall to IUSB at Home
Notre Dame, Ill. The Holy Cross women's basketball team hosted Indiana University South Bend this evening in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup. The Saints would control a 17-10 lead after the first ten minutes of action. South Bend was able to battle back and a late made three in the half as the Saints found themselves down 23-22 entering halftime. Holy Cross would regain the lead 27-25 with a little over six minutes left in the third, but the Titans would regain the lead 35-33 entering the final quarter. Holy Cross would struggle shooting from the floor in the final quarter, as they fell 55-47. With the loss, Holy Cross stands at 4-4 and 1-1 while IUSB moves to 8-0 and 2-0.
