Holy Cross Women’s Golf Earns Runner-Up Finish at Home Invitational

The Holy Cross College women's golf team turned in a strong and steady performance at the Holy Cross Spring Invitational, held April 9–10 at Knollwood Country Club in Granger, finishing 2nd out of 5 teams—their best team result of the season.
 
Competing in a challenging field, the Saints handled fast greens and near-constant drizzle with poise, putting together a solid team score built on smart decision-making and solid execution across the lineup.
Leading the charge was sophomore standout Jill Daniels, who put together back-to-back rounds of 84 to secure an impressive top-5 individual finish.
 
Bianca Huizar and Hannah Herschbach also delivered strong performances, each finishing in the top 10 and contributing key scores to the Saints' second-place finish.
 
With momentum building at the right time, Holy Cross now turns its focus to Conference play this Monday and Tuesday in University Park, Illinois.
