Saints Fall 2-1 to Warriors
Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross College women's soccer team returned to non-conference play this afternoon when they hosted Rochester University. Midway through the first half, the Warriors were able to notch a goal coming in the 26th minute. Holy Cross would be limited to two shots in the first 45 minutes of action, as the game would enter halftime with the Saints trailing 1-0. Three minutes once played resumed out of half, Olivia Shaw scored an equalizing goal off the assistant from Mia Garatoni. The match would be knotted at 1-1 for majority of the time remaining, until Rochester was able to score in the 88th minute to take the 2-1 victory. With the loss, Holy Cross stands at 2-4 while Rochester moves to 4-1.
