The Holy Cross College women's soccer team earned a hard-fought 3–3 draw on the road against Indiana Northwest on Sunday afternoon.
After falling behind late in the first half, the Saints came out strong in the second, scoring three times in a back-and-forth battle. Abigail Fouts found the back of the net twice, both assisted by Quinn Pankiewicz, while Miriam Iturriaga-Sanchez added the late equalizer in the 87th minute to secure the result.
Holy Cross recorded 10 total shots, including four on goal, and continued to apply pressure throughout the match. Goalkeeper Montserrat Alvarez torres made three saves while anchoring the defense in another strong performance.
With the tie, Holy Cross moves to 7–5–2 overall and 6–1–2 in conference play, maintaining momentum in the final stretch of the regular season.
The Saints will look to bounce back in their next outing as they continue conference action on Tuesday October 21st against Governors State. Kickoff is set for 1pm!
